“Ateneans and the Ignatian Legacy: Doing more for others for The Greater Glory of God.”

Doing more for others is a personal desire to help without asking anything in return. The Mathematics Society, over the years, has always been looking not only to provide its members academic assistance but also to help those students cope up with their difficulties in Math through the university wide tutorials. The organization has also collaborated with other organizations in their objectives to provide meaningful projects not only to XU students but also with other students coming from public high schools.

The society has also implemented projects to showcase high school and college students’ talents in mathematics through quiz bowls. In the process of doing and implementing all the said activities of the organization, value of friendship and camaraderie stands out.

Above all the efforts exerted by all the members of the society, not only to excel but also to follow teachings of Christ to help the people in need by all means.

A unified Xavier University Mathematics Society who are academically competent especially in math and have the passion to serve others. Xavier University Mathematics Society also envisions of becoming the aid in building academically competent individuals equipped with knowledge in the field of Mathematics

MISSION

Xavier University Mathematics Society seeks for the enhancement of knowledge in the field of Mathematics and promote of interest in Mathematics to our fellow Ateneans.

GOALS and OBJECTIVES

To increase members’ participation through continuous and interesting activities that will help the members to become better in his/her academic field (mathematics).

To help our fellow Ateneans who are academically in need especially in the field of Mathematics through a series of tutorials.
